The hospital has a well-equipped fitness zone available for exercise and rehabilitation. The rehabilitation includes focusing on constant improvement of the functional status of the patient. The team applies a proficient approach for patient rehabilitation. It actively educates and advises people to perform physical therapies and exercises to restore strength, movement and function, which in turn helps in the speedy recovery of a patient.

Neuro-Developmental Therapy is an important application of physiotherapy for special children. NDT interventions aimed to stop abnormal postures and movements by holding the child in fixed postures that were supposed to inhibit reflexes.

The NDT approach does not involve the patients’ sensory-motor problems exclusively. It involves the whole person, including the emotional, social and functional problems that the individual has to face in his or her daily life. The NDT approach also involves managing problems related to the development of the child, including impairments in perception and cognition.
