Medicine

The Department of General Medicine, Spandan Hospital, intends to give the highest standards of Medical excellence in comprehensive care, preventive, diagnostic plus curative medical services for all patients. We aim to provide quality primary and speciality care to adults.

The Department, in phase one of inception, is to be manned by two consultants and assisted by a dedicated unit of nurses and other support staff. The Department effectively delivers the most recent evidence-based diagnostic and therapeutic care for all patients. Our doctors from Internal Medicine, are specially trained to manage seriously ill patients suffering from advanced illness and/ or diseases of more than one system.

We cater to the general medical needs of our patients in the office, including disease prevention, early detection of disease, screening, patient education and follow-up care from hospitalization. In the hospital and ambulatory setting, we manage acute and chronic illness of our patients. We are also trained to meet the individual needs of the geriatric population. We offer a comprehensive health check-up programme for adults with stress on obesity management. We provide medical cover to all surgical and other subspecialties with expertise.

Comprehensive care is offered; comprising outpatient services, bounded emergency care services, and inpatient care including consultation services. To improve the quality of care, we believe in keeping up to date with medical knowledge and skills with a focus on academic programmes and research activities.

Spandan believes in an integrated multidisciplinary approach, hence various experts from the Department of Homoeopathy, Yoga, Physiotherapy, Occupational therapy, Psychology etc. coordinate with the department of Medicine to deliver holistic care.

You can experience this in the Department of lifestyle disorders, in Integrated Cancer care and of course in Developmental disability.
