The Department of ENT provides an extensive spectrum of surgical as well as medical services for the disorders related to ear, nose, throat, neck and head.
The team is proficient in treating patients in different age groups and with problems related to ear, nose and throat, some of which include the following:
- Hearing and deafness, deviated septum, rhinitis, ringing in the ears, sinusitis, nasal obstruction, sinus headaches and migraines, and various cancerous conditions.
- Problems associated with the throat, including throat tumours, sore throat, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), hoarseness, vocal cord and infections.
- Defects at the time of birth, related to the head and neck, ear infection, developmental delays, tonsil and adenoid infection, asthma and allergy.
- Sleep-related disorders such as nasal and airway obstruction, sleep apnea, sleep-disordered breathing, and snoring along with expert counselling and consultations to the patient.
The doctors are highly experienced and also work in collaboration with other specialities like speech pathologists to deal with the facial deformities and congenital disorders which may occur during childbirth such as cleft palate and lip. The partnership with other specialities ensures that the patient is offered complete quality care.
