Most of the time, mothers are not aware of variations happening in the body and hormones. They tend not to seek advice from the right person and thus suffer themselves. 

At Spandan, we conduct regular Yoga and ANC workshops where we train them on various topics like postpartum depression, how to deal with it, how to share your problems. Also, we teach various yoga asanas, which help in strengthening pelvic floor muscles and abdominal muscles. Yoga also helps to relax the mind, reduce anxiety, and has a calming effect. If any enigma, they can come and discuss freely with doctors and get supervision.

Mental Health during pregnancy is of great importance for a healthy mother & fetus. Emotional disturbances can have a far-reaching impact. It can lead to somatic disorders in the mother as well as can have intrauterine growth retardation. Severe emotional disturbances can predispose the mother to severe depression or postpartum psychosis. 

We counsel mothers during pregnancy to maintain a stable mental state.
