268th FREE MEDICAL CAMP-DISTRIBUTION OF ASSISTIVE AIDS

B. Barvalia foundation’s Spandan Holistic Institute is dedicated to the cause of disability and mental health.
The founder of the organization, Dr. Praful Barvalia, conceptualized the project: Give me wings, I want to fly. The project aimed to improve ECOSYSTEM for the individuals with mental health and disability. Class 1: Mental Health and Class 2: Disability
Under class 2, we provide assistive aids to the individuals with disability in addition to the holistic multidisciplinary care. This is done with the help of other organizations/donors.
268th Free Medical Assessment and Treatment Camp for individuals with Disability was conducted followed by the event to distribute assistive aids.
Camp was quite successful and we registered eligible individuals for free Homoeopathic treatment and free therapy for their neuro developmental disabilities.
181 Divyangjan were identified with neuro-muscular, visual and auditory disability, eligible for assistive aids through the camps conducted at Bandra and by Spandan-ALIMCO at Govandi.
6th March 2024, distribution of assistive aids was carried out. The distribution was organized by ALIMCO with the help of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited CSR support. M. B. Barvalia foundation’s Spandan Holistic Institute was the NGO partner working in the field of disability.
181 beneficiaries received 289 appliances, worth 40 lakhs rupees.
They received, Wheel chair, C.P chair, Crutches, Hearing Aids, Visual Aids.
Relevant Divyangjan were motivated for the holistic multidisciplinary intervention.
Dignitaries from Spandan, BPCL, ALIMCO and Rotary club of Ghatkopar participated. Free arrangement of food was made for all Divyang and their families as well as for the guests.

All the Divyangjan with their families received food.
We will continue our efforts in improving the ECOSYSTEM for the individuals with disabilities.
