We are working in the field of DISABILITY and MENTAL HEALTH, which are the most neglected area of healthcare and education. We are running a Government-recognized Holistic Child Care Centre and Special School in Ghatkopar, Mumbai. It has helped hundreds of special children, and restored smiles on the faces of their distressed parents. We have set up Spandan Holistic Mother – and – Child Care Hospital, at Deonar, Mumbai, which is  full-fledged hospital dedicated to mother and children  which can provide holistic multidisciplinary care in a cost-effective way.

This is a unique institute where all work under one roof with a holistic approach through a multidisciplinary team of Homoeopaths, Paediatrician, Neurologist, Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon, Plastic Surgeon,  Clinical Psychologist, Counsellor, Psychotherapist, Occupational therapist, Special Educators, Speech therapist, Applied Behaviour Analysis therapist, relationship development intervention expert,  Nutrition expert, Physiotherapist, Neuro development therapist, Social workers  and Yoga therapist. We carry out research-based intervention of various disciplines like Occupational Therapy, Psychotherapy, Homoeopathy etc. for the total welfare of special children. The success stories of our Centre have been acknowledged and appreciated by the AYUSH (Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy) AYUSH Ministry, which has selected our Institute for upgradation to a CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE. Dynamic integrated approach not only helps to deliver excellence in clinical services but also contributes in providing platform for education and training for Homoeopaths, pediatrician, psychologists, educators etc.

We strongly believe in community care, hence OUTREACH is an integral part of our functioning. We have screened over 11,000 students from schools from Urban Slums for identification of mental health and disability. We have been helping more than 3,300 school children on a regular basis

At Spandan, we realize that each child is unique. We work on the principle of understanding each child’s psychology and learning the mechanism of best unleashing their latent potential. We are unique organization where the body, mind and soul of a child is addressed under one roof. We are able to do this with the help of homeopathy, medical and paramedical experts, academicians and psychologists, working together as a team.

Advance Centre of Autism

Autism is a disorder characterized by severe pervasive such as social interaction skills, communication skills, presence of stereotyped behaviour and lack of flexible imaginations. Onset is within first 3 years of life.

School caters to children suffering from autism spectrum disorder. Foundation skillfully integrates holistic research based homoeopathy, sensory integration, applied behavioural analysis and special educational inputs.

Clinical Centre

This is a registration and out patient department. It is an entry point towards any other unit in Holistic Child Care Centre.

It is a multidisciplinary integrated care through co-ordination among various expects. Children are registered at the clinical centre & then integrated in various educational programmes after detailed assessment. Centre provides expert evaluation, treatment, therapy as well as guidance to children with disability.

Parents Forum

Parents of special children are among those who face a major challenge. They need to deal with the child’s needs and the family’s needs. In this process, they may be unable to provide optimum care to their children. As a result, they may feel frustrated, guilty or helpless. Parents need to realize that these feelings are natural, and they also need to learn how to tackle the challenges presented to them. Hence, they need to be counseled regularly both by teachers and by other parents.

A non randomized, historical self controlled, pre & post intervention study was carried out in 60 Autistic children in 2007-09

Childhood autism disorder is severe and sinister disorder. Traditional treatment measures have hardly achieved anything significant. Study conducted by Spandan holistic institute of applied homeopathy, Mumbai under extramural research project demonstrates effectiveness of homeopathic management in autism. 60 autistic children of both sexes up to the age of 12 years were selected for study.




The institute has undertaken a challenging project under AYUSH- Public Health Initiative (PHI) Project. The purpose of this project is to identify and care for children with learning dysfunctions and mental health dysfunctions in the community. 5 public schools in the M and N ward areas were adopted
